This is sobering.
Been reflecting for a while in the fact that even when I am mindful over every thought, every movie and series I watch, every response I give, over every song I listen to, I just can’t seem to avoid sinning.
Some realised moment of faithlessness or some form of self exaltation – in both extremes of subtle-ty as well as outright pride – usually has overtaken me, even with these ‘measures’ in consideration.
It’s as though… it is my nature to.
And that, it actually is.
Makes the depth of salvation even more worthy of the reverence I pay to it, not in my own strength of course #humbling
